Every lounge side by side
Sorted by terminal, then price. Book goes to our booking partner where they sell the lounge, and to the operator where they don’t. Terminal 1 is now closed and has no lounge — if an old guide sends you there, it’s out of date.

Our picks at Manchester
Reasoned from published prices, opening hours and age policies — not from visits, and never from a paid placement.
Escape Lounge
The cheapest lounge at Manchester by a clear margin, and the same brand as the Terminal 2 Escape that costs £40. If you’re flying from T3 you get the better deal without trying.
Executive by Escape
Opens at 03:00, an hour before anything else at Manchester and earlier than any other lounge we list anywhere in the UK. It is Escape’s premium tier and adult-focused, so it suits a 06:00 departure without children rather than a family trip.
Escape Lounge
Under-3s go free and 3–15s pay a reduced child rate, so a family of four lands well under four adult tickets. It’s the sensible family choice in Terminal 2, where the Aspire costs £7 more and the Executive is adult-focused.

Choosing at Manchester
Your terminal decides first
Terminal 2 has three lounges — Aspire, Escape and Executive by Escape. Terminal 3 has two — Escape and Aspire. There is no airside link that lets you use the other terminal’s lounge, so check your boarding pass before you compare anything.
Flying Ryanair? You end up in Terminal 3
Terminal 1 is now closed. Its check-in hall still opens for Ryanair passengers, but the departures lounge has gone — you clear security and come out in Terminal 3. If your boarding pass says T1, the Terminal 3 lounges are the ones to book, and they are the cheapest at Manchester anyway.
The same brand costs different money
The Escape Lounge is £31 in Terminal 3 and £40 in Terminal 2. Aspire is £37 in T3 and £47 in T2. In both cases Terminal 3 is the cheaper building — useful to know, but not something you can act on unless your airline happens to fly from there.
Aspire runs two rooms in Terminal 2
Aspire has one lounge by the C gates and another by the D gates, both at the same price. Which one you get is set when you book, so if you have a strong preference about which end of the terminal you sit in, check the confirmation rather than assuming.
Memberships
Four of the five take Priority Pass. The exception is Executive by Escape, which takes DragonPass but not Priority Pass — worth knowing before you turn up at 03:00 with the wrong card.
Frequently asked
How many lounges does Manchester Airport have?
Five that you can book: Aspire, Escape and Executive by Escape in Terminal 2, and Escape and Aspire in Terminal 3. Terminal 1 is now closed; its check-in hall still opens for Ryanair, but those passengers clear security into Terminal 3 and use the Terminal 3 lounges.
Which Manchester lounge is cheapest?
The Escape Lounge in Terminal 3, from £31 per adult booked ahead. The cheapest in Terminal 2 is the Escape Lounge at £40.
Which Manchester lounge opens earliest?

Can I use a Terminal 3 lounge if I fly from Terminal 2?
No. The lounges are past security in their own terminals and there is no airside connection between them, so you can only use a lounge in the terminal you are flying from.
