Both are Escape products in the single terminal. The Escape Lounge also publishes a £55 walk-up price against its £39.99 advance rate, which is the widest book-ahead saving we have found anywhere. Book goes to our booking partner where they sell the lounge.

Our picks at Bristol
Reasoned from published prices, opening hours and age policies — not from visits, and never from a paid placement.
Essence by Escape
Cheaper, and the only one of the two that accepts Priority Pass or DragonPass. Escape bills it as the budget sibling, but on the things we can verify it is simply the better buy at this airport.
Essence by Escape
The only one of the pair with a published child rate. Escape’s wider rules apply: children from 3, under-3s free, and a hard maximum of three children per booking that catches out larger families.
Escape Lounge
Escape’s main Bristol lounge, £5 dearer and without a card route in. Book it ahead rather than walking up — the door price is £55, a £15 premium for not planning. From 25 October it closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and at 16:00 otherwise.

Choosing at Bristol
Your card only works in one of them
Essence takes Priority Pass and DragonPass. The Escape Lounge takes neither. If you hold a membership, half of Bristol’s lounge capacity is closed to it, and the half that is open is also the cheaper one.
Winter closes the bigger room two days a week
From 25 October the Escape Lounge shuts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and closes at 16:00 on the days it does open. Essence keeps its 03:30–19:30. For an autumn or winter booking that is the first thing to check.
The walk-up price is a trap worth naming
Escape publishes £39.99 to book ahead and £55 at the door for the same room on the same day. That £15 gap is the largest we have found at any UK lounge, and it is the single best argument on this site for booking before you travel rather than deciding at the gate.
Both open at 03:30
Which is early — only a handful of UK lounges open before 04:00 at all. For Bristol’s heavy early-morning schedule that matters more than the £5 between them.
