How airport lounge access actually works
Pay on the day
Book online in advance or pay at the door. No membership needed — usually £18–£40 per person depending on the airport and lounge. The simplest option for occasional flyers.
Priority Pass
An annual membership scheme giving access to hundreds of lounges worldwide, often included free with certain credit cards. We show which lounges accept it, verified against Priority Pass's own directory. DragonPass is the rival scheme, bundled with some bank cards; we tag it only where the lounge or airport confirms it, so an untagged lounge means unconfirmed, not refused.
Card & airline access
Some lounges are free if you're flying business/first class, hold elite airline status, or carry an eligible card like Amex Platinum — no separate payment needed, but eligibility varies lounge by lounge.
Frequently asked
Are the prices on ClubAirSide guaranteed?
No. Where we show a price it's the lowest advance rate we actually checked with our booking partner, not an estimate — but lounge rates move with date and demand, so treat it as a guide and confirm the live price before booking. Where a lounge shows "Live price for your dates" instead of a figure, it means we haven't verified a current price for it and would rather say so than publish a number we can't stand behind.
Do I need to book in advance?
It's recommended, especially at busy leisure airports (Stansted, Luton, Gatwick) during school holidays — walk-up availability isn't guaranteed even for pay-on-the-day lounges.
How does ClubAirSide make money?
We earn a small commission from our partners when you book through a link on this site. It costs you nothing extra, and it's how we keep the directory free and up to date.
